Innovation Fee
The innovation fee is a small Dubai Government fee added to transactions, including DLD property transactions.
Definition
The UAE Government portal states: “Dubai Government levies innovation fee of AED 10 on every transaction. This amount goes to Dubai Future Foundation to boost the emirate’s innovation environment.” DLD’s Property Sale Registration page lists “AED 10 innovation fee”; its Dubai Now buy or sell page lists “AED 30 Innovation Fee”.
What it shows — and what it does not
As with the knowledge fee, the amount depends on the service and channel. It is not part of the 2% registration fee.

Illustrative example: a fee estimate shows two AED 10 lines — knowledge and innovation — alongside the registration fees for a trustee-office sale.
