Form F
“Form F” is the common name for Contract F, the Dubai Land Department’s standard sale contract between a seller and a buyer in a resale.
Definition
DLD’s template is titled “Property Sales Contract between Seller and Buyer” and each page is marked “Contract F”. DLD’s Real Estate Brokerage Practice Guide describes it as “An agreement to sell a property between the seller and the buyer”, alongside Contract A (seller and brokerage) and Contract B (buyer and broker).
What it shows — and what it does not
Contract F records what the parties agreed — price, deposit, dates. It does not transfer ownership: the transfer happens when DLD registers the sale.
Example
Illustrative example: buyer and seller sign Contract F with a deposit and a target transfer date, then book the trustee appointment where the sale is registered.
Next step
Read Form F (MOU) in a secondary sale.
