DLD fees: identify the actual charge
“DLD fees” is often used as a broad label for property-registration costs. For a usable budget, identify the specific official service and separate its charges from trustee partner, conveyancing, developer and lender costs.
Start with the transaction type
A sale, gift and mortgage-related transaction can involve different rules or components. The relevant official service and actual transaction assessment matter. Do not copy a sale calculation into a gift or restructuring because both change ownership.
Use the maintained cost ledger
Our Dubai transfer-cost ledger records the published reference rules, source links and unresolved components. The calculator uses a labelled core subtotal and keeps other items visible.
Keep recipients and purposes separate
Record who receives each charge and what it pays for. A trustee partner fee is not Conveyance’s service fee. A property-record component is not automatically the trustee partner fee. Developer and lender charges require their own confirmation.
Check allocation and payment instructions
The schedule should show the payer, amount or calculation basis, recipient, accepted method and confirmation source. Read the agreement and obtain advice where allocation is disputed.
See the payment guide and who-pays checklist.
Our service fee is a separate line
Conveyance publishes fixed fees for defined standard services. These pay for the agreed procedural coordination and exclude official and third-party charges. View our prices and scope.
