Invoice / Receipt
A receipt is DLD’s confirmation that fees for a transaction were paid.
Definition
DLD’s Property Sale Registration page says the parties “pay the fees and receive a receipt for payment”, sent by e-mail. DLD’s Fees Payment Receipt service lets you “request fees payment receipt for one of your old procedures like sale, mortgage, map issue”.
What it shows — and what it does not
The receipt proves that the fees were paid; it does not prove that the transfer is registered — that is the title deed.
Example
Illustrative example: after a sale is registered, the buyer finds the e-mailed receipt missing and requests it again through DLD’s receipt service.
